Pizza Oven 3.0

Check out some pics of the latest rev of our pizza oven, which had it’s first run on Saturday at our Birthday party.

When we built our first pizza oven in Chancery Lane, it became a regular feature of our Open Socials and other events. Having our own dedicated yard in Chancery Lane, meant that we could build a permanent one outside.

Blackpitts is an amazing space for us, but we do not have our own dedicated yard. We have a shared car park. We’ve built the oven temporarily on special occasions, but we have to take it down the next day. It’s always been the plan to make a mobile one that we could push out as-required.

Over the last few months we built that mobile version and it had its first successful run on Saturday at our party. Drop in to our regular open socials to see it in operation.

Wednesday January 24th – Craft Night starts up again from 7PM also. Come along to make some decorations for our Birthday Party!
Saturday January 27th – Our Birthday Party starts from 7PM.
Monday January 29th – Electronics, Microcontroller, and IOT evening begins this night at 7PM
Wednesday 31st January – our regular Wikipedia Editing Event has its first meeting of 2018. Ever wondered how to get started editing Wikipedia? Come along to find out!

TOG 9th Birthday Party

This month it’s our 9th birthday. We’ll be celebrating in style on Saturday 27th January in Blackpitts from 7PM. It will be a double bash, because we will be combining our regular Open Social with our Birthday Party. So don’t miss it!

If you’ve never been to one of our events, you’ll find it a great alternative Saturday evening in town. Come in and look around. If you’ve never been in before, we’ll give you the grand tour of the space. Talk to members and visitors about projects or things you’d like to do. Ask about our plans for 2018. If you like what you see, ask about joining as a full member.

The space stays open until the last member is left……usually the small hours of Sunday morning. The evening is free to attend for members and visitors alike. No need to book…. just turn up. You can drop in for 10 minutes, or stay the whole night. We have parking available. Bring beer, food, gadgets! Our doors are open from 7PM. Hope to see you there. Expect mighty craic.

TOG 2018

Our regular open evenings kick off again with coding and lockpicking night on Monday 8th January.  After that, keep a watch on our calendar for the rest of our regular evenings.

 

Watch out also for our birthday party which takes place at the end of January.

Next 2 weeks in Tog

Hello all, we’ve an exciting few weeks in the lead up to the holiday season. Why not come to Craft Night to make christmas cards or tree decorations!

Monday 27 November – Our regular Coding Night and Lockpicking Night is on from 19:00 – bring your laptop and hack on projects or open locks with members and the public.
Wednesday 29 November – Wikipedia Editing Event and Craft Night – both from 19:00. Learn how to get started in Wikipedia editing or put together some nice holiday decorations!
Monday 4 December – Electronics and Micro Controller night is on from 19:00, with a breadboard workshop also on – only 4 places available!
Thursday 7 December – our regular Phreakshow – Mobile Filmmaking meetup takes place again from 19:00. Total beginners and experts all welcome!
