Here’s a list of buses that travel near the space. But any bus that travels through the city centre will leave you just a short walk from the space.
Parking:
We have only 2 car parking spaces. It is never a good bet to try and park in tog. We share the area with our neighbours, try not to block anyone in (which usually entails staying around).
We’re adding alternative public parking locations as they are discovered. This is a work in progress, information will be updated as we get it.
- Werburgh Street; choice between the multi-storey carpark of the Jurys Inn, or limited street-side carpark across the road from it.
- Golden Lane and Whitefriar have limited pay-and-display parking (may be free after 7pm).
- The Quays are also pay-and-display and have free parking from 7pm. But it’s an uphill walk from the Quays to tog.
Accessibility:
The majority of the space is on the ground floor. Only one room (currently the darkroom) is up a flight of stairs. Any classes, workshops, or talks will be held downstairs. However it is an older building, with a somewhat narrow corridor as the main entrance, and heavy narrow doors. (We’ll double-check the widths and update this section.)
Entrance to the space is via an intercom buzzer through a gate with a smaller pedestrian door inset. If you require the main gate opened please mention it when you ring the buzzer.
