A Synchronous Hackathon is an event that takes place every month in TOG where hackerspaces from all over the world take the time to work on projects on the same weekend. We also encourage members of the public to come join us and spend a few hours working on a project that has been put on the back burner for too long.
A social night organised by TOG members to enjoy some food and some drinks (BYOB). Anyone who is interested in what goes on in TOG is encouraged to come and talk to some of the members who make things happen in the hackerspace. Free tours offered by our expert guide Jeff. Please ask for him at the door.
Our regular bi-weekly Electronics Night meet-up has been made a little more special with Rob running a Surface Mount Workshop. Rob is also running a beginners soldering workshop on the weekend before.
Our regular bi-weekly Craft Night meet-up. Bring your craft gear to TOG from 7pm and prepare for a bit of a Stitch ‘n Bitch, sewing, embroidery, jewellery making, felting, and more. A class/session is in the works.
We all have our own personal indulgences. Tonight we will be visiting food, coffee, and beer from those who are the go to people on the subject. Listen to the enthusiasts for an evening and widen your knowledge on some of the things that can be taken for granted. More info here.
Night of Short Talks
Our night of short talks bring together 6 speakers on very different subjects. Our presenters only have 15 minutes to present their topic of choice. Attendees have the advantage hearing a nice diversity between talks, in quick succession. More info here.
Our yearly Hackerspace Quiz takes place with our resident Quiz Master. The quiz takes place with audio links to other hackerspaces around Ireland as well as a few extras from our friends in the UK and US.
