Exploring Electronics Together: Join Us at TOG!

Embark on an exciting journey into the world of electronics with a Monday night watch along course.

Are you eager to explore electronics but unsure where to begin? Whether you’re a hobbyist tinkering with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or sensors, or someone looking to refresh their electronics skills, this course is tailored just for you. Say goodbye to intimidating math-heavy lectures; our sessions prioritize hands-on learning and practical applications.

Led by Instructor Joe Gryniuk from Lake Washington Technical College, our course follows the engaging “Electronics 110” series available on YouTube. While there may be optional labs and coursework, the focus is on providing you with accessible, beginner-friendly content.

Join us every second Monday evening at 7 pm for an hour and a half session filled with discovery and learning. And don’t worry, it’s completely free to attend! Plus, we’ve got you covered with ample tools, parts, and equipment to kickstart your learning journey.

We are starting things off on Monday 22nd at 7 pm and then every two weeks after that.

No need to RSVP—simply show up and dive in! And don’t forget, there’s ample free parking available and complimentary tea/coffee to keep you refreshed.

Tog at The UCD Repair Clinic

UCD Innovation Academy, Tog Hackerspace and a team of UCD volunteers will be on hand during this event to give your broken items a new lease of life, from repairing small furnitire items to rejuvenating your favourite pair of jeans.

All UCD staff & students are welcome to attend the repair clinic – bring a broken item or just come and see what it’s all about.

Tog At Dublin Comic Con Spring 2024

Dublin Comic Con returns to the Convention Centre Dublin on March 9th and 10th. We will be there for the spring edition. This is Ireland’s leading pop culture event. An event for the whole family. Covering everything from movies/tv shows to comics, cosplay and gaming!

We will have a fan table on both days. We are excited to showcase some cosplays that were built by our members. New sample projects to give everyone an idea of what can be built in our space. Please drop by and say hello.

March Repair Cafe

Do you have broken items at-home – clothes, small appliances, toys, electronics?

No need to throw them away!
Save your things from the landﬁll and your wallet from having to replace them.

Bring them to our repair café and learn how to ﬁx them together with our volunteers. We have tools, materials, space to work on your item, and repair experts who will help you with your repair.
